Joon H. Kim, DDS
General Dentistry
Dr. Joon Kim was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, attended Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, and then graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Tired of the cold weather, he accepted the opportunity to do a post-doctoral program in prosthodontics at the University of Texas School of Dentistry.
Dr. Kim has called Houston home ever since.
Dr. Kim started Red Bird Dental, PLLC in 2008 with the vision of providing quality dental care by using his talents, skills, passions and personal values as a way to serve and love others. A deeply committed Christian, Dr. Kim takes every opportunity to do dental missions work abroad and to have his practice reflect his beliefs. When not practicing dentistry or serving at his church, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with his family and playing and watching sports. He is a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Dr. Kim has been named of of Houston’s Top 100 Dentists in H Texas Magazine, is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
